METCAN Building Solutions Inc. (MBS) is a 50/50 partnership between ARCAN and the Hay River Metis Government Council. MBS is registered with the NWT Manufactured Products Policy listed as an approved manufacturer of Re-locatable Industrial and Residential Structures.
MBS specifically designs and constructs all our structures for northern conditions meeting or exceeding the Good Building Practices for Northern Facilities specifications followed by Housing NWT and Infrastructure. Our buildings are constructed up to 95% completed in a climate controlled, weatherproof facility in Hay River and transported to sites around the territory via road, ice road, winter road or river barge.
MBS differentiates itself from a "typical" manufactured home or trailer through custom design options, our high level of quality and the materials we use. We build for northern climates to meet northern needs and specifications.
